• Do not re-patch the tattoo
  • Do not apply products with petroleum jelly, lanolin or petrolatum
  • Do not apply alcohol
  • Do not carve, scratch or tear the coast
  • Do not expose the tattoo to the sun, do not swim or soak in a sauna, steam bath or ink for 15 days
  • That the clothes that the tattoo touches are clean and dry

Wash the tattoo carefully with cold water, applying neutral or antibacterial soap gently with the fingertips (never use cloth). After rinsing with cold water, pat dry with a clean towel and air dry for 15 minutes. Then gently apply a thin layer of lubriderm cream (blue cap). Repeat 2 times a day, for at least 10 to 15 days.

After 5 to 14 days your tattoo will begin to peel and form a scab (this is normal). Do not tear off the skin or scab, let it fall off by itself. New skin will replace the dead skin. The colors may lighten during the process, but will return to normal when the healing process is complete.

After a few weeks, there will be no scabbing or peeling, but the area is probably still tender. Continue with regular cleaning and application of the lubriderm cream (blue cap).

Exposure to the sun is the main cause of your tattoo fading, therefore, when you are exposed to the sun you should use SPF-30 sunscreen.
